Have You Seen My Scars?

Have you seen my scars?
You may not see them, but that doesn't mean they aren't there. 
They came through a great deal of pain, agony, and sorrow.
And yet, 
they remind me that there is a better tomorrow. 
Without these scars I wouldn't have learned the lessons I have 
And I wouldn't be the person that I am. 
And the scars I have yet to have 
Will turn me into the person that I am meant to be
I look forward to those days 
Where I find my way and turn into the Girl God wants me to be
